What does yoga do for me and you? It Slows the Rhythms and Quiets the Mind so you can hear your Inner Voice, which leads to making better life choices.
I have been practicing Yoga and Meditation since 1996. She discovered these practices while visiting Omega Wholistic Institute a few times a year. I began meditation daily and found it set a calming tone for the whole day! I also found a yoga teacher close to my home (South of Boston), “fell in love” with yoga and knew I wanted to become a teacher!
So I followed my passion… In 2007, I completed my 1st certification in Chair Yoga at Kripalu Yoga Institute. I continued to teach and study and now have my 200-hour Hatha Certification, as well as certifications in Yoga for Trauma, Restorative Yoga and Yoga and the 12 Steps.
I have taught a myriad of populations, Women in Recovery from Addiction, Cancer Survivors, people with chronic back pain and many men and women who simply find a sense of inner calm after practicing.
I offer small classes and private sessions in Hatha Yoga, using a Gentle Vinyasa Flow, Reiki and Restorative Yoga and Yoga for Trauma, powerful approaches to healing physically and emotionally.
My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my students’ faces transformed – it is amazing what an hour of yoga does to refresh you!
Whether teaching a class or working with someone privately, I like to draw from all my life experience to offer a sense of self-acceptance that leads to empowerment on and off the mat. I look forward to meeting you and practicing together.
